Many thanks to all of you who were able to get there, especially given the current extraordinary circumstances. Congratulations to all of the winners.

A message from the organiser

What a lovely day spent in a sports hall with friends, while the world outside was going crazy.

Congratulations to all the students who took part, all the coaches, staff and supporters, I hope you all enjoyed the day and felt it was worth the effort, it was certainly challenging for many of you this year.

A huge thank you to all the Officials, but from my point of view, to the team who kept the day moving…   Manning the door, helping on the Milano stand, sorting the officials refreshments, (they would have got very grumpy if we hadn’t looked after them), organising the trophies and making sure that the presentations flowed smoothly. Setting up and taking down all the equipment we used, processing the results. The list goes on….

383 competitors fought fiercely over the 86 Individual Trophies and 19 team events.

With 25% of the original entry pulling out during the last 3 days, we set up in trepidation, but need not have worried; so many people with many offers of help, we filled all the official’s chairs for the morning and competition started promptly at 9:00am. Lunchtime presentations were a little ahead of schedule, carried out swiftly on our lovely sparkly podium, thanks to Harry and Expressions Events. Please have a look at the photos on Cecil Paul Studio’s website.

Not wishing to keep everyone hanging about, we started the afternoon session 15 mins ahead of schedule and completed the shorter Afternoon session smoothly, finishing by 4:30, Final presentations were made and everyone was on their way home by 5:00pm.

Some amazing performances, with everyone doing their best on the trampolines, as well as making themselves comfortable amongst friends.

There were some issues with certificates; I am aware of a list of those, but if there are any others, please email and I will send you a copy by return.

If anyone wants an electronic copy of the Programme, I can email that to you. If anyone lost anything at the event, let me know as a few items were handed in.

Thank you all for supporting this event, we will get through the challenges of the next few months and moving on I may see you all at next year’s finals in Yorkshire….

All the best
