What more can we say? After 2 years of uncertainty, no venues and disrupted training  we were all seriously doubting whether (a) we could actually run a full 3-stage competition this year and (b) whether anyone would be in a fit state to compete it we did.

Well, you all proved us wrong.

After fighting through the regional and zonal rounds, over 550 of you descended upon the unsuspecting residents of Macclesfield and proceeded to amaze us with your skill and aerial precision over 10 hours of competition yesterday. The venue was tremendous, the equipment first-rate, judging panels and officials were fantastic and the gymnasts and coaches had clearly been working overtime to prepare for the big day. Everyone should be really proud of this achievement, not just our new National Champions.

We hope that you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did watching you. Congratulations once again to all of the trophy and medal winners, and thanks to Howard, the BSGA President for coming along to present trophies, despite needing to be in two places at the same time!

Fees
There are a number of people with outstanding financial queries that we will be following up in the coming week to sort out refunds etc.
Certificates
Everyone should have collected their participation certificates at the competition. If you would like to add your actual position and score to you certificate, you can download this zip file to find the PDF with your results in, formatted to fit on your certificate. As printers may vary though, please do a test print on a plain sheet of paper first to check alignment and orientation, as we cannot post new certificates out! The certificates should be fine with either inkjet or laser printers.
Photos
If any of you want to order photos form the day, please pop along to Cecil Paul Studios website,  You will need a password, which is being sent to the email addresses that were provided on the entry forms. Please note that it may be a day or two before all of the photos are available on the site.
Lost Property
Finally, if you lost anything of value at the event, please let us know as one or two items were handed in.
Thanks!

So that’s it for another year. Huge thanks as always to the army of volunteers who made it all possible, and to our wonderful hosts at the King’s School.

See you all in 2023!

Best wishes
